The clearance to Lower Wacker is 12' 2", and the clearance to 311 dock is 11' 9".3MD has been chosen as the building's recommended mover for internal moves. 3MD has been working with our tenants at 311 for the past 10 years and carries a certificate of insurance on file year round. Depending on the size of your move, 3MD can be scheduled during normal or after business hours. Their rates vary according to straight time, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; overtime, Monday through Friday after 4:30 p.m. and all day Saturday. DELIVERIES: Small deliveries (no furniture) may come through the building entrance at 334 South Franklin, which is located at the southeast corner of Van Buren and Franklin. No deliveries are permitted to come in the building through pedestrian entrances. All other deliveries must enter through the dock, which is located on Lower Wacker Drive. Any deliveries over 3 lifts must be scheduled with the security department. When giving directions to our dock, instruct vendor to enter Lower Wacker from Harrison or Congress Parkway. We do not allow transportation of large moving carts, larger moving dollies, mail carts and white mail bins in the passenger elevators. These items can cause considerable damage to the passenger elevators. We would greatly appreciate if these items would be transported via our service elevators, which are located on every floor and have direct access to the ground level mailroom. The freight elevators are located in the southeast corner of the elevator core. The two main entrances for these elevators are ground and P1 level. The elevators access every floor. Both the freight elevators are staffed during normal business hours and may be used without prior notification for routine deliveries. Large freight movements must be scheduled in advance and will usually take place after normal business hours.
